A new and unique Virtual Choir experience!

arranged for voices in harmony and accompanied by Amy Stephen on Celtic Harp and
other instruments (if in the arrangement).
If you are interested, please contact Amy: [email protected]
The virtual choir package includes the following:
- 3 original arrangements for SSA (or SSAB, depending on the makeup of the group)
of traditional songs, accompanied by Celtic harp (& possibly other instruments)
- Rehearsal tracks provided
- 6 x 1.5 hour online choir sessions (sectionals) to learn, practice parts, and hang out with other singers
- 2 half-hour online individual sessions for vocal work
- Digital vocal production and final recorded video of the group - a virtual choir performance to keep and share
Total cost for 6 weeks all included, with edited video performance = $200/person*
You can pay by e-transfer to [email protected]
or directly through PayPal
If you are interested, please email Amy : [email protected]
Next session dates are tba
Space is limited - please contact Amy with any questions you might have.
*This is a chamber choir setting that I am planning to continue live once the world opens back up again
to choral singing and performance - continuing is not necessary for participants
but know that it is an option that will be available.
Singers should be confident in their voice production and tuning, and having some choral experience
is certainly helpful, but not essential. Phone auditions may be required.

AMY'S CHORAL HISTORY so far...
While completing her Bachelor of Music degree at the University of British Columbia from 1988 - 1992, Amy was fortunate to study choral conducting with James Fankhauser, who directed the University Singers. She also studied classical voice and piano. Amy was a member of the University Chamber Singers, and has sung throughout the years with the Vancouver Chamber Choir, musica intima, the Vancouver Cantata Singers, and the One Human Family Gospel Choir. As a featured soloist and instrumentalist, Amy has performed and recorded with Chor Leoni, Elektra, Laudate Singers and Capilano University Singers.
While living in Nanaimo from 2016-2019, Amy founded and directed the Phrase-ology Choir,
and directed the St. Paul's Anglican Church chancel choir.
Over the past 20 years Amy has professionally directed the following choirs: Aurora Celebration Choir, Coquitlam Celebration Choir, Archbishop Carney Secondary School Choirs, Gilmore Park United Church Choir, Bring Your Own Voice Community Choir, St. Augustine's Anglican Church Choir, Tyee Montessori Elementary School Choir, Argyle Secondary School Choirs, and interfaith singers One Voice Choir.
After obtaining her Bachelor of Music degree in voice and piano at UBC, in 2008 Amy completed her Bachelor of Education degree (Secondary, Choral Specialist), also at UBC, and has taught music in BC schools for twelve years.
